Kameoka Cosmos Festival, Kyoto

I went to Kameoka Cosmos Festival (夢コスモス園: Yume Cosmos En) with my friend on 11th October. Kameoka City is two hours car ride from Kyoto City. If it is not weekend, it perhaps takes more shorter.

We had been there about ten years ago, too. However, this time, the scale of the festival gets more and more larger! The field seems more than about five times as large. I heard there were 100,000 cosmoses!!

Do lavenders bloom in autumn?

I have seen yellow cosmos for the first time.

The festivals continues till 31th October.
If you are in Kyoto, you could spend very good time.


Open Hours: 9:00am-4:00pm
Fee: adult 600yen, child 300yen

Kameoka cosmos festival is usually held in whole of October.
This year it is from 25th September to 31th October.
